The Cauldron, Machrihanish.JPG - "The Cauldron, Machrihanish" 22" x 14½" £410 An awe inspiring sea as the Atlantic rollers from a series of gales mix with the rocks and tide. Not a place for boats! The weather was bright and wild with occasional short bursts of hail stones which blotted out the view. When I got home the car was white with salt. There is a trig point on a low headland nearby which was swept with heavy spray every now and again.
