Ann Thomas Paintings

Welcome to the Art Gallery of Ann Thomas ATD

This website showcases watercolours, acrylics on canvas and pastels by the renowned Argyll based artist, Ann Thomas, who specialises in painting the Seascapes, Landscapes and Buildings of the West Coast of Scotland and Northern England. The majority of Ann's paintings are undertaken in situ giving a strong sense of place and atmosphere with particular emphasis on her Scottish surroundings.

Ann owned the 'Ann R Thomas' Gallery for 26 years until her 'semi-retirement' in 2000. She became exceptionally well known for her fine ink drawings of Scottish Wildlife and Architecture for which she was considered to be one of the finest artists in Scotland. Ann has undertaken a wide range of commissions for innumerable private collections; past customers include Blair Castle, Balmoral, Holyrood, The National Trust for Scotland, Scottish Natural Heritage, Glenlivet Distillery, Springbank Distillery and Johnstons of Elgin, to name but a few.
